Milo International Language Center Student Services
*This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.
Our language schools are conveniently located in the cities of Weston and Doral FL, surrounded by restaurants, hotels and many different local businesses which offer discounts to all our students and staff.
Our staff at MILO is always available to support all our students’ needs, providing personal and academic advising.
We provide Support services in the following areas: Referrals for Housing, transportation, student insurance, tours and excursions, and hotel accommodations.
In addition, we host monthly cultural activities such as Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, 4thof July celebration, Halloween, Thanksgiving etc.
HOUSING
If you wish to immerse yourself in the American culture and be exposed to the daily routine of a typical American family, and practice English in your spare time, MILO has an alliance with HOMESTAY FLORIDA LLC, a company personally known to our administrators.
Our student services Coordinator will verify suitability of accommodations.
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS
At our two locations, Weston and Doral FL, students have the opportunity to stay at well-known hotels, conveniently located steps away from our schools. Our students can benefit from discounts specially arranged for MILO students. Students are responsible for their own accommodation and payment to these hotels.
MONTHLY EVENT CALENDAR
MILO offers access to a monthly calendar of local events in the vicinity of our two locations, Weston and Doral, respectively. The calendar (which is posted on the bulletin board of our center) includes the notice of various local events including concerts, festivals, self enrichment programs, Expos, and different local cultural events that will accomodate any student to the area.
TOURS/TRANSPORTATION
MILO can assist our students by referring them to local companies with expertise in transportation and organizing tours and excursions.
HEALTH INSURANCE
MILO requires all our international students to have health insurance.
We provide a referral service only.
